What are wall decals?
Wall decals, also known as wall stickers, wall graphics, wall appliques, or wall clings, are typically very thin sheets of vinyl with one printed side and one adhesive side. They stick to flat walls and other surfaces without the use of nails or glue.
They are simply amazing, super fun, and easy to use!
Why would I want to use Wall Art Design wall decals?
Wall decals are a quick and easy way to decorate your home. They can be placed on any smooth, nonporous surface including windows, doors, mirrors, furniture, laptops, and more!
Our decals will make you happy and uplift your mood every time you see them on your wall. Your friends will be super impressed!
How do I know if my walls will work for wall decals?
If you are not sure if the decal will work in your wall or not, you can order a sample to try it out.
Can I clean my wall decals?
Yes, just use a slightly damp cloth and a little hand soap. It will remove any dirt, dust, or other substances that may end up on your wall decals.
How do I clean the surface before applying my wall decal?
Use a warm, damp cloth or sponge to clean the wall surface or window and allow it to completely dry before applying your sticker or decal. Make sure all previous cleaning solutions are completely gone.
Can I stick wall decals on newly painted walls?
Allow at least 30 days before applying decals to newly painted surfaces. The wall should be completely dry and cured or bubbles can occur. Some of the new new VOC 0 eggshell paints might contain small amounts of silicone and will not work very well with anything sticky.
You can always test your wall with a simple piece of masking tape. If it sticks, our decals will, too.
Can I apply the vinyl decals to a a textured surface?
We guarantee Wall Art Design wall decals will stick to smooth, flat surfaces. However, we do not recommend applying them on bumpy, rough, or textured walls, such as stucco or eggshell painted surfaces. Bumpy walls will create pockets of air in between the sticker and the wall, thus interfering with the sticker adhering. Wall Art Design does not provide refunds for wall decals that do not stick to a textured surface.
How do I remove my wall decals?
Wall Art Design wall decals are easily removable. Removal is just as easy as application. To remove, use a blow dryer to warm the decal and soften the adhesive. Start at a corner and slowly peel the decal from the wall or surface, moving toward the center of the wall decal until it is free from the wall.
How do I store my wall decals if I want to save them for later?
The wall decals can easily be removed and stored for use a later time. Make sure you save the linings when applying if you think you will want to store and reuse the decals. Just re-apply the decals to the liners, roll them up, and store them wherever you please. Wax or parchment paper also works very well for this purpose, if you forgot to save the liners.
